Engineered the Same, Delivered Worldwide: Why Global Consistency Matters in Cargo Equipment

In air cargo, precision extends beyond design. It reaches every production line, every shipment, and every component that keeps freight secure, and crews and passengers safe. Airlines and forwarders operate under tight schedules, complex networks, and zero-failure expectations. One delay, one faulty strap, or one missing net can disrupt entire operations. That is why Trip & Co focuses not only on innovation, but on how and where its products are made.

With a worldwide production and storage network, Trip & Co builds close to its customers while maintaining one global standard of quality. Every strap, net, and cover leaves the factory ready to perform exactly as intended: safe, efficient, and reliable under pressure.

Local Speed, Global Standards

Speed is everything in logistics. A shipment delayed by a missing restraint or thermal cover can ripple across an airline’s network. Trip & Co produces and stocks in multiple regions across Europe, Asia, and the Americas so customers can receive dedicated equipment within 24 hours instead of waiting weeks.

Local production reduces lead times and transportation costs while improving sustainability through shorter shipping routes. It also allows faster response for custom projects, whether that means non-standard dimensions, special fittings, or additional certification.

Every Trip & Co site operates under the same engineering specifications, inspection procedures, and certification rules. Components may be produced across Trip & Co’s global manufacturing network, but final assembly and certification of ETSO cargo nets take place at our EASA Production Organisation Approval (POA) facility in the Netherlands. Every product therefore meets the same approved materials, tolerances, and quality benchmarks. In aviation, consistency is non-negotiable, and Trip & Co enforces that consistency at every site.

Quality Without Borders

Cargo equipment works in demanding conditions: heat, cold, vibration, and exposure to the elements. To perform globally, every product must begin with the same materials and processes. Trip & Co’s quality control covers all stages of production, from material inspection to tensile testing, stitching verification, and dimensional checks.

Each product line, from ETSO-certified cargo nets to thermal covers and fire containment systems, follows a traceable workflow of design, approval, manufacture, and release. Central engineering teams coordinate production specifications and ensure that improvements introduced in one facility are applied across the network.

For customers, this translates into predictable performance and easier operations. Components are interchangeable, replacement gear integrates seamlessly, and documentation is identical worldwide. Reliability becomes routine because variation has been engineered out of the process.

This repeatable model allows Trip & Co to combine responsiveness with dependability. Operators receive local delivery with global assurance – a system designed to eliminate surprises.

A Smarter Way to Scale

Manufacturing strategies often swing between centralization and localization, but aviation logistics demands both. Trip & Co’s model balances regional agility with centralized control. Regional hubs keep production close to customers, while global oversight maintains one technical and safety standard across the organization.

That balance supports efficient scaling as demand grows without compromising certification or traceability. It also underpins cooperation within CCE Group. Together with AviusULD, Driessen Catering Equipment, and Icebridge, Trip & Co contributes to an ecosystem that connects cabin and cargo manufacturing under a shared standard of engineering excellence and operational speed.

This approach strengthens sustainability in practical ways. Producing closer to customers reduces freight miles and emissions, while shared repair and refurbishment capacity helps extend product life. These are direct outcomes of a manufacturing system designed for efficiency.

Built for Operators, Everywhere

For airlines, forwarders, and ULD leasing companies, the benefits are immediate: faster delivery, less downtime, and confidence that every product meets the same standard. A strap produced in one region fits perfectly with a net or pallet sourced from another. A thermal cover delivered from a regional warehouse performs to the same specifications as one produced at headquarters.

That level of predictability defines Trip & Co’s approach to global manufacturing. Precision, reliability, and speed work together by design.
